Through our research, outreach and entrepreneurial projects, Clemson University and its employees are driving economic development and improving quality of life in South Carolina and beyond.</p> <p>So,... are you ready?</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Clemson University if looking for a Prospect Management Analyst to fulfill the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Reporting to the Executive Director of Prospect Development, the Prospect Management Analyst collaborates with development officers to manage prospects and portfolios in support of Clemson University. </li><li>Utilizes CRM systems and business processes. </li><li>Proactively assists in delivering timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting and engagement strategy details for managed donors/prospects to development officers. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>35% - Essential - Prospect Strategy Development:</p> <p>Collaborates with development officers to create personalized engagement plans with innovative and strategic approaches to deepen donor interest and secure long term commitments. Leverages relationships with fundraisers to build and maintain portfolios, implement methods to evaluate portfolio productivity, monitor fundraising activity, and help ensure the timely capture of constituent data. Devises strategies to ensure prospects are effectively managed within the CRM system as they progress through the donor life cycle. Serves as Advancement Services liaison to advancement fundraisers to communicate best practices for strategic prospect management.</p> <p>35% - Essential - Data Analysis:</p> <p>Conducts detailed analyses of donor and prospect data to uncover trends, patterns and engagement opportunities. Partners closely with development officers to regularly analyze, and enhance their portfolios and the donor pipeline for increased fundraising success. Ensures that development officers are equipped with the data-driven insights needed to engage effectively with high potential prospects, driving successful fundraising outcomes and advancing our divisional goals. Tasks may include but are not limited to creating and distributing regular reports to fundraisers, recommending prospect assignments and quality prospect pools.</p> <p>30% - Essential - Data Management:</p> <p>Ensures the integrity and accuracy of prospect data within the university's constituent relationship management system (CRM) and other database platforms through regular upkeep and maintenance of data to proactively support Advancement fundraisers. Tasks may include but are not limited to scheduled reviews of development officer contact reports for updates to prospect plans and strategies, maintaining accuracy and integrity of pipeline data, measurement of progress towards annual goals, and other duties as assigned.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education - Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Work Experience - 2+ Years</p> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Work Experience (Preferred) - Knowledge of fundraising practices. One year of experience in Prospect Research. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong focus on customer service and proactive problem resolution.
