Your success is our success.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <ul> <li>The Production Planner will be responsible for planning the production of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. The preferred candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented team player who performs effectively in both business planning and production environments. </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Generating, monitoring, and expediting production schedules </li><li>Coordinating supply chain, inventory, and production activity </li><li>Vetting MRP-generated production orders </li><li>Identifying and mitigating production order material shortages/challenges </li><li>Planning production routing, sequencing, and methods </li><li>Executing planned production orders </li><li>Managing production order revisions </li><li>Preparing, evaluating and disseminating metrics, reports, procedures, and documents </li><li>Prepare data reviews and present findings </li><li>Present and lead weekly GEMBA meetings </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field </li><li>Relative production planning or relative experience preferred </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems </li><li>Professional interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities </li><li>Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to problem solve in complex and ambiguous situations </li><li>Experience working with MS Office suite </li><li>Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, bill-of-materials (BOM) and production routings </li><li>Fundamental knowledge of aircraft, systems and parts preferred </li></ul> <p>Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
