With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).</p> <p>A day in the life.</p> <p>As an Account Manager within the Business Insurance Commercial Lines team, you'll utilize your exceptional client servicing skills to manage client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts and also provide professional insurance services to our clients by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments too. This includes, but not limited to, providing coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, completing applications, preparing submissions, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers and preparing proposals according to agency standards. You may also be called on to resolve issues related to billing, make policy changes, respond to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner, and prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.</p> <p>All Account Managers are expected to participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license, stay current with all regulations and enhance insurance knowledge.</p> <p>Our future colleague.</p> <p>We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes the following:</p> <ul> <li>Active Property & Casualty license </li><li>Experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process. </li><li>Solid coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledge </li><li>Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills are essential </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups </li><li>High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser software </li><li>Exceptional time management and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently </li></ul> <p>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or other related fields </li><li>Insurance designations </li><li>Experience with Epic </li></ul> <p>We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
