<p>We are seeking an experienced User Interface Development Manager to lead the development and test of user interface software for our industrial automation instrument product portfolio. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering intuitive, standards-compliant user interfaces for mission-critical automation systems.</p> <p>This position focuses on embedded web server and UIP development, as well as FieldComm Group technologies including FDI and EDDL, enabling consistent, high-quality user experiences across host systems and devices.</p> <p>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</p> <p>Leadership & Team Development</p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of user interface and embedded software engineers focused on industrial automation solutions. </li><li>Promote a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Technical Oversight</p> <ul> <li> <p>Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of embedded user interface software, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Embedded web servers and UIP frameworks</p> </li><li> <p>FDI packages and workflows</p> </li><li> <p>EDDL-based device descriptions</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure UI software meets performance, usability, reliability, and cybersecurity expectations for industrial environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee integration of UI technologies with embedded firmware and host systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Project & Process Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage the UI software development lifecycle including planning, execution, testing, certification support, and release. </li><li>Collaborate with hardware, firmware, systems, product management, and standards teams to align on requirements and deliverables. </li><li>Apply Agile development practices and maintain high standards for code quality, reuse, documentation, and traceability. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure UI and device integration artifacts comply with relevant industrial and FieldComm Group standards (e.g., FDI, EDDL, host interoperability requirements). </li><li>Champion automated testing, validation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices for UI software assets. </li><li>Support product interoperability testing, certification, and validation efforts with external host systems and tools. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>You thrive in environments where precision, reliability, and innovation are paramount.
