<p>Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)</p> <p>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business need.</p> <ul> <li>Must have maintenance knowledge in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical, and other typical apartment repairs. </li><li>Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff. </li><li>Adhere to the dress code as established by management </li><li>Use proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures. </li><li>Prospective candidates must be available for emergency on call rotation as required. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>At least three (3) years previous maintenance experience required, specifically in an apartment community. </li><li>Excellent organization and customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize workloads. </li><li>Must be able to work independently with little supervision. </li><li>Must have good diagnostic skills and be able to perform repair work on the following: appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, and painting/sheetrock.
