<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Security Engineer III to join their team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and manage Okta Identity Governance solutions, including workflows, policies, and configurations </li><li>Develop and maintain Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes to ensure seamless identity lifecycle management </li><li>Configure and manage attribute synchronization, delegated flows, and custom attributes in OIG </li><li>Integrate Okta with various enterprise applications, directories, and cloud platforms </li><li>Configure and conduct periodic access reviews and certifications for privileged and non-privileged accounts </li><li>Monitor and resolve issues related to user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access assignments </li><li>Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Okta workflows </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and Okta support </li><li>Monitor the health and performance of the Okta environment </li><li>Ensure compliance </li><li>Partner with stakeholders to define the target state for the OIG implementation </li><li>Act as a subject matter expert for Okta Identity Governance </li><li>Hands-on development/coding and implement Okta Workflows </li><li>Create and maintain automation scripts </li><li>Implement access governance and access request workflows to ensure proper access control and certification processes </li><li>Conduct access reviews and certifications </li><li>Work closely with IT, security, and application development teams </li><li>Provide support and troubleshooting for identity and access management issues </li><li>Design and execute rigorous test plans to validate the migrated OIG solution's functionality, performance, and security </li><li>Collaborate with security and engineering teams </li><li>Maintain detailed documentation </li><li>Generate reports and metrics to track effectiveness and efficiency </li><li>Provide ongoing support to users during and after the migration </li><li>Monitor the OIG implementation for optimal performance </li><li>Complete the assigned engagement tasks* Certified as Okta Certified Administrator is mandatory </li><li>Okta certified Developer certification is mandatory </li><li>6 years of IT professional experience </li><li>4 years of IT Security experience </li><li>Proven experience (3+ years) working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in a complex enterprise environment </li><li>3+ years of experience working with Okta Identity cloud and its core functionalities </li><li>More than 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing custom identity solutions with Okta </li><li>Experience using Okta API Access Management to secure APIs </li><li>Experience using Okta REST APIs and knowing how to pass the correct API parameters in requests </li><li>Experience with identity lifecycle management, attribute synchronization, and custom attributes </li><li>Experience assigning and unassigning apps to users using Okta Users and Groups APIs </li><li>Experience using Okta APIs to query logs and events </li><li>Strong expertise in Okta Identity Governance </li><li>Knowledge of identity security concepts </li><li>Understanding of the design principles of Okta APIs </li><li>Understanding of the various Okta supported OIDC and OAuth flows, and knowledge of when to use them </li><li>Understanding of how an Okta policy and the rules associated with that policy affect API calls and responses </li><li>Knowledge of how to enforce Okta multifactor authentication for users in client apps </li><li>Knowledge of how to interpret the common Okta API error codes </li><li>Strong understanding of IAM concepts </li><li>Familiarity with security best practices and secure coding principles </li><li>Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting </li><li>Proficiency in integrating Okta with enterprise systems, directories, and cloud platforms </li><li>Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines </li><li>Analytical mindset </li></ul>
