<p>Located at Core Lab (Moraine, OH)</p> <p>Full-Time Evening Shift (3:30pm-12:00am) with have rotating weekends and holidays.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all tests in an accurate and efficient manner following established policies and procedures. </li><li>Perform and record daily and/or routine maintenance and quality control on all equipment or reagents used for testing. </li><li>Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiates problem solving procedures. </li><li>Record all results in an accurate, complete and readable format, utilizes computer systems correctly to generate results and notifies clients appropriately of panic value results. </li><li>Address client related questions and problems in a courteous and efficient manner, following department policies and procedures. </li><li>Participate in training of new employees and students in appropriate technical areas. </li><li>Comply with all corporate integrity and safety policies of CompuNet Clinical Laboratories. </li><li>Contribute to the overall effectiveness of CompuNet Clinical Laboratories by performing other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS) ASCP certification (or eligible) or comparable required. </li></ul> <p>Physical & Safety Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Visual acuity and hand-finger dexterity to work at computer for extended periods. </li><li>Perform accurate data entry and data analysis in a potentially noisy environment. </li><li>Complete integrity and accuracy in test performance and results reporting </li><li>Read/see small print on labels. </li><li>Lift and carry, with both hands, weights up to 20 pounds for distances up to 50 yards. </li><li>Lift a weight up to 50 pound from the floor to an approximate height of five feet. </li><li>Manual dexterity to be able to manipulate various specimen types as well as the fine motor skills required to operate the various pipetting devices common to the clinical laboratory. </li><li>Stand for extended periods of time. </li><li>Repeatedly walk short distances. </li><li>Will have exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals </li><li>Be familiar with and adhere to safety, ergonomic and health policies of the Company. </li><li>Comply with all PPE requirements when in the laboratory or other biohazard areas. </li></ul>
