<p>Comfort Systems USA - Intermountain Inc. is currently seeking a Service Installer who specializes in HVAC Service. This individual is responsible for the installation of residential and commercial HVACR systems, utilizing knowledge of equipment application, refrigeration theory, duct design and layout, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.</p> <p>Job functions and duties (other duties may be assigned)</p> <ul> <li>HVAC Installation. Work under supervision to complete assignments and gain knowledge of products/processes. </li><li>Safety Minded. Aware of the many potential hazards associated with our industry. </li><li>Active Learning Skills. Understanding the essential need of new information and pursuing on-going training. </li><li>Good communication skills. Good listener with complete tasks as instructed to help negotiate complex problems and deliver competent customer service solutions in an honest and believable manner. </li><li>Team Minded. Enjoys helping others to succeed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or</p> <p>5 years equivalent experience</p> <p>Language Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to comprehend simple written and vocal instructions, short correspondence, and memos. </li><li>Ability to write simple correspondence. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Mathematical Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. </li><li>Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs. </li></ul> <p>Reasoning Ability</p> <ul> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. </li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. </li></ul> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license </li><li>EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
