This role includes coaching assigned position groups, assisting in game planning, recruiting student-athletes, and fostering academic and personal growth among team members. The Assistant Coach helps ensure that all activities comply with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the planning and execution of practices, training sessions, and conditioning programs for assigned position group(s). </li><li>Provide individual and group instruction to develop players' technical skills, game knowledge, and overall performance. </li><li>Contribute to the development of game plans, opponent scouting reports, and in-game adjustments. </li><li>Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA and university guidelines. </li><li>Mentor and support student-athletes in their academic, athletic, and personal development. </li><li>Assist with monitoring player eligibility, academic progress, and compliance with team and university policies. </li><li>Participate in program operations including equipment management, travel coordination, and event preparation. </li><li>Promote sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork among student-athletes. </li><li>Represent the football program positively within the university and broader community. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. </li><li>Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, preferably in football. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and travel. </li><li>Must be able to lift at 15 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Application Process</p> <p>Candidates are required to submit their resume, four professional references and a cover letter.
