<p>Description</p> <p>The Programs and Insights Manager is responsible for overseeing the Programs Support Coordinator, Programs Data Projects Coordinator, Programs Agency Services Specialist, and Programs USDA/Kitting Specialist. This role focuses on supporting the Programs department through data analysis, grant reporting, internal and external communications, customer service, training, resource development for programs and partners, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and Feeding America standards.</p> <p>This position also ensures data integrity across software systems, supervises the kitting of all projects, and provides clear guidance and resources to ensure staff and partners understand USDA regulations. As a vital leader within the department, the Programs and Insights Manager ensures collaboration across teams and partners to achieve the Arkansas Foodbank's mission. They must embody strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to hunger relief, and a capacity to work with diverse populations.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The statements contained herein describe the scope of the responsibility and essential functions of this position but should not be considered to be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned including work in other areas to cover absences or to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload. Individuals in this position may occasionally work irregular hours as necessary.</p> <p>The Programs and Insight Manager will be comfortable learning new technology, as well as an eagerness to utilize Arkansas Foodbank software systems. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, a spirit of collaboration and teamwork, and a commitment to hunger relief.</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and guide staff and provide ongoing mentorship, support professional development, and promote a collaborative work environment. </li><li>Oversee reporting processes to meet internal, external, and funder requirements, and implement systems for accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis. </li><li>Design and deliver training programs to enhance compliance and operational efficiency, and manage the creation of training materials and program guidelines. </li><li>Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, Feeding America standards, and food safety policies. Monitor adherence to state and federal requirements. </li><li>Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders, including emails, social media, newsletters, and outreach materials. </li><li>Oversee kitting projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate with IT to analyze program data, identify trends, and enhance processes. </li><li>Lead special projects and drive system updates within the Programs department. </li><li>Collaborate with other teams to address service gaps, improve outreach strategies, and support funding proposals, program communications, and impact reporting. </li><li>Provide timely reports and maintain accurate program records in all relevant databases and systems. </li><li>Demonstrate effective leadership, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to the Arkansas Foodbank's mission and values. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The following qualifications are preferred for the candidate or employee; however, other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of management.</p> <ul> <li>The equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) preferably in Social Work, Business, Nonprofit Management, Community Development, Health Administration or a related field preferred </li><li>Minimum three (3) years of experience in community outreach, service leadership, social services, or related field </li><li>Experience in a non-profit organization is preferred </li><li>Proficiency in data analysis, project planning, and the use of software tools such as Microsoft Office and other relevant platforms. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences. </li><li>Valid Arkansas driver's license and proof of insurance required </li><li>Must pass a background check and preemployment drug screening </li></ul> <p>Arkansas Foodbank is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against employees, volunteers, donors or neighbors on the bases of race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.</p> <p>Arkansas Foodbank values the individuality of all employees, volunteers, donors, and neighbors.
