You will work cross-functionally to understand marketing needs, act as a company brand ambassador to external sources, and drive revenue growth through successful marketing campaigns.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Narrative and Messaging </li><li>In partnership with an external marketing firm, craft cohesive messaging frameworks that connect the dots across business units and functional areas to build a unified brand story. </li><li>Executive & Cross-Functional Influence </li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external marketing firms in managing priorities, aligning expectations, and ensuring seamless execution. </li><li>Facilitate alignment on marketing priorities across the organization and represent marketing in cross-functional forums. </li><li>Integrated Marketing Programs </li><li>Lead the planning, execution, and performance tracking of high-visibility marketing campaigns (e.g., original inventor campaigns, innovation forums) </li><li>Partner with external agencies to manage content creation, calendar execution, and engagement analytics </li><li>Content Ownership & Technical Storytelling </li><li>Oversee the development and approval process of press releases, blog posts, award submissions, and strategic communications </li><li>Ensure consistency in editorial voice for content based on stakeholder input, policies, and messaging strategy </li><li>Insights & Performance </li><li>Direct monthly reporting, analytics review, and insight synthesis </li><li>Translate performance metrics into program-level optimizations and executive-level recommendations </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>10-15 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with 3-5 years in a strategic or director-level capacity </li><li>Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs </li><li>Industry background in IP licensing, semiconductors, enterprise technology, or media and entertainment preferred </li><li>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus </li><li>Skills & Attributes </li><li>Strong executive presence, with a proven ability to influence across senior levels </li><li>Mastery of storytelling and structured written communication </li><li>Exceptional program and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Data-driven mindset with a strategic lens on content performance </li><li>Experience managing vendor relationships and leading agency deliverables </li><li>Deep knowledge of LinkedIn strategy, content marketing, and editorial planning </li><li>Demonstrated use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Matters</p> <p>You will be at the center of Adeia's effort to amplify its brand and the impact of its innovation. Candidates must be located in the Bay Area and available to work in-office on Tuesdays. Additional in-office days may be required as business needs require.</p>
