<p>Overview</p> <p>Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, DOE</p> <p>Location: 5401 W. 9th St., Greeley, CO 80634</p> <p>Full time, onsite position</p> <p>The Academic Coordinator is a core member of the Embark Behavioral Health in Greeley team. The Academic Coordinator reports to the Program Director. The mission of the Academic Coordinator is to direct and support academics, coordinate all educational needs, and facilitate an engaged classroom learning experience for each client. Further, the Academic Coordinator will provide extra time as needed, beyond the formally schedule academic hours, in order to support/tutor individual clients in order to maintain academic traction.</p> <p>Embark Behavioral Health in Greeley operates year-round and strives to support the academic process of our clients by providing experiential learning that facilitates the continuation of their education. In addition to our therapeutic objectives, we offer opportunities for credit recovery via Mountain Point Academy and academic growth based on the individual needs of each client.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Academic Coordination & Support</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate weekly with Mountain Point Academy (MPA) and facilitate daily academic work completion for clients. </li><li>Adjust academic plans based on clinical needs and provide individual instruction as needed, including outside normal academic hours. </li><li>Ensure clients have timely access to all necessary educational materials and supplies. </li><li>Collaborate with Clinical and Residential teams to enhance the academic program's effectiveness and service quality. </li><li>Participate actively in Treatment Team Meetings and coordinate with home schools/MPA when appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Family & Referent Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Greet every enrolling family and client warmly and confidently in person. </li><li>Meet with clients and guardians to develop individualized academic plans. </li><li>Maintain consistent, timely communication with parents and schools, and provide academic records within 3 days of client transition. </li><li>Support program tours and events as requested. </li></ul> <p>Team & Culture Alignment</p> <ul> <li>Align with the Treatment Team, L10 Team, and Program Director on program goals and initiatives. </li><li>Deliver academic support using effective teaching and tutoring strategies. </li></ul> <p>Financial Planning</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Program Director to plan for future capital needs, including classroom furnishings and technology. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Age: 21+ years of age or older </li><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Bachelor's degree in related field a plus but not required. </li><li>Skills: classroom management and academic support. </li><li>Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training </li><li>Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Colorado state laws. </li><li>Prior academic or teaching experience with high school-aged adolescents. </li><li>Experience supporting teens with mental health challenges. </li><li>Strong collaboration, time management, and multitasking skills. </li><li>Effective communicator with parents, educators, and counselors. </li><li>Passionate about helping adolescents succeed academically. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Comprehensive Benefit Program that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, 401K with company matching, PTO, and paid parental leave.</p> <p>There is no predetermined closing date for this job opportunity.
