<p>Overview</p> <p>ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC</p> <p>Fort Knox, KY</p> <p>THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD</p> <p>The Psychologist shall provide essential medical waiver recommendations for military service applicants.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct behavioral health consults for applicants as part of the medical waivers process. </li><li>Schedule and perform clinical interviews for applicants. </li><li>Determine the eligibility of applicants and ensure that all medical documentation is accurate and up to date. </li><li>Document consults in a comprehensive clinical report, including electronic signatures. </li><li>Upload reports to applicant's electronic file within 72 business hours. </li><li>Research relevant background information and assess whether accession standard qualifications are met. </li><li>Communicate results with Service Waiver Authority and respective units. </li><li>Use medical accession standards to determine additional records, consults, or unofficial waivers needed for each applicant. </li><li>Create and maintain tracking reports for scheduled consults required to finalize Medical Review determination. </li><li>Maintain electronic records in a central, government-provided location, accessible by team members. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Privacy Act, HIPAA, federal regulations on confidentiality, and other relevant regulations. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctorate degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. </li><li>Possess and maintain an active unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Kentucky. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of DoD Medical Standards for Appointment, Enlistment, or Induction in the Military Services (DoDI 6130.03-M) </li><li>Experience with military healthcare systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Possess an understanding of psychological disorders, assessment methods, and treatment approaches. </li><li>Experience with electronic record keeping and clinical documentation </li><li>Possess organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy and security protocols. </li><li>Ability to form rapport with diverse populations and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to changing situations. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Knowledge of Privacy Act, HIPAA, and federal regulations on record confidentiality. </li><li>Experience with clinical assessments </li><li>Experience working with military regulations and standards. </li><li>Knowledge of various diagnoses and treatments </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable suitability investigation/background check. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
