<p>Duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develops effective, long term client relationships to provide individual plans focused on overall financial objectives of the client. Provides timely direction and follow-up. </li><li>Identify suitable investment opportunities that align with clients' risk profiles and objectives. </li><li>Partners and prospects within WaterStone Bank by establishing relationships with bank employees to obtain qualified referrals. </li><li>Develops prospects for new client relationships through networking and COI building. </li><li>Keeps apprised of current financial market trends, strategies, product offerings, regulations and provides objective advice based on this information. </li><li>Focused on growing and protecting client assets including but not limited to; tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning and other financial matters, growth and protection of assets. </li><li>Responsible for significant growth and development of the bank's book of business, including GDC and Assets under Management. </li><li>Actively works with WSB Supervisor and Broker Dealer to refine selling and communication skills. </li><li>Periodically present seminars to WSB staff or prospects to educate, inform and garner business. </li><li>Design and implement follow up plans for clients in a manner that matches their communication style and investment needs. </li><li>Adhere to ethical standards and fiduciary responsibilities, always acting in the best interest of the client. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>5 years sales and business development experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>5-7 years of experience in the investment/wealth management field. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED) </li><li>Series 6 and series 63/65 or 66. Valid Wisconsin Life Insurance License </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance or business is preferred. </li><li>Series 7 (required within 6 months) </li><li>Additional education and/or experience: List if applicable. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Additionally, an individual must be flexible in work schedule and have the ability to travel between office locations if warranted and provide proof of insurance. A valid driver's license in required. Driving record must be in accordance with WSB's Vehicle Safety Policy.</p>
