<p>Witco, Inc. has a great opportunity to join our team in our employment service program for Ontario.</p> <p>We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Job Coach, Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm</p> <p>This position provides on-the-job coaching and support to people with disabilities working at their job site in the community. Serves as an instructor, mentor, and advocate for individuals on assigned caseload.</p> <p>This position will allow you to inspire the lives of others while also working for a not-for-profit, mission driven company, with over 50 years of advocacy for individuals with disabilities.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to work independently and maintain a high degree of integrity.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provide work and employment training services training to people who are cognitively, behaviorally and/or physically disabled at their place of work. </li><li>Provide or arrange transportation if needed. </li><li>Monitor progress towards goals, collect data on all services provided, evaluate results, make recommendations. </li><li>Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively. </li><li>Teach job skills to the employee and guide in learning to complete job tasks. </li><li>Assist the employee with soft skills such as social skills and communication in the workplace. </li><li>Coach employee on fine-tuning work habits/skills to maintain employment. </li><li>Help the employee stay motivated through difficult times. </li><li>Encourage the development of self-esteem and independence. </li><li>Complete documentation and maintain accurate records, prepare reports as required. </li></ul> <p>Hire qualifications include the following:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Criminal history clearance with fingerprinting, employment references, and pre-hire drug screen required. </li><li>Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and good driving record. </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
