This commission-based role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in educational grant writing and a proven track record of securing funding from federal, state, local, and private sources.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in an educational setting </li><li>Demonstrated success in securing grant funding from government and/or private sources </li><li>Strong research, writing, and editing skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently </li><li>Familiarity with grant compliance and reporting requirements </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with district priorities and strategic goals </li><li>Collaborate with district and school leadership to gather program information and funding needs </li><li>Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals within required timelines </li><li>Develop compelling narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation for applications </li><li>Track submission deadlines, application status, and reporting requirements </li><li>Maintain a grant calendar and database of opportunities and outcomes </li><li>Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including documentation and reporting </li><li>Provide guidance to district staff on grant-funded program implementation as needed </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment</p> <ul> <li>This is a commission-based position </li><li>Compensation is based on a mutually agreed-upon percentage of successfully awarded grants </li><li>Payment terms and percentage will be established prior to grant submission </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties</p> <p>Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools</p> <p>All application materials must be submitted online, through Applitrack; should you have any difficulty in submitting your online application please contact (860)945-4813.</p> <ul> <li>District reserves the right to close the posting if a suitable candidate is found prior to the external closing date. </li></ul> <p>Attachment(s):</p> <ul> <li>#2579 Educational Grant Writer, Commision Based - WPS.pdf </li></ul>
