The following opportunity is for our U.S. team.</p> <p>The opportunity</p> <p>We currently have an opportunity for a Claim Operations Supervisor to join our Claim Operations team based in our Canton, MA or Farmington, CT office on a hybrid schedule. This job directs and oversees clerical/administrative support for the claims department. Some of the Claim Operations Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and lead a team of claim operations staff, prioritizing and assigning work, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and productivity. </li><li>Oversees day-to day operations of the teams' activities including workload distribution of new claims, prioritization, reporting, and monitoring performance. </li><li>Ensures timely and accurate processing of loss and expense payments adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and service level agreements. </li><li>Review and approve complex or escalated issues, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments, to streamline processes, resolve customer inquiries, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. </li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any training or development needs of the team. </li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices related to claim processing, and ensure compliance within the department. </li><li>Anticipates and meets all customer needs (internal and external). </li><li>Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>The expertise you bring</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma required. </li><li>Associates degree and/or prior insurance experience preferred. </li><li>3-5 years of clerical experience with 1-3 years of supervisory experience required. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate analytical, decision making, problem solving, and organizational skills. </li><li>Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively using oral and written communication in various forms including video. </li><li>Must be able to work both independently, as a member of a team, and have the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals. </li><li>Demonstrate proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office suite and other systems utilized by the department. </li><li>Must maintain a high level of accuracy and follow-through on commitments. </li><li>Requires the ability to maintain confidential information. </li><li>Capable and willing to adopt to changes as needed. </li><li>Ability to follow work instructions as directed. </li><li>Ability to stay focused and productive during required working hours. </li><li>Respond to internal and external clients as established by department guidelines. </li><li>Ability to travel when the position requires. </li></ul> <p>Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $94,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Hoboken, NJ; and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $84,000 -$98,000.
