<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage warehouse automation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. </li><li>Pursue new business opportunities in the warehouse automation sector, building strong relationships with potential clients. </li><li>Utilize knowledge of autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), automated supply and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and racking solutions to design and implement efficient warehouse automation systems. </li><li>Prepare accurate project estimates, including cost analysis and budgeting, to ensure financial viability and profitability. </li><li>Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables. </li><li>Monitor project progress and performance, implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards are maintained. </li><li>Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. </li><li>Support the development of plans for vendor engagement, contract execution, and third-party deliverable tracking. </li><li>Oversee the definition of physical infrastructure, system throughput requirements, and technical specifications in collaboration with SMEs. </li><li>Provide consistent status updates and program dashboards to stakeholders, executives, and steering committees. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with at least 5 years in warehouse automation or industrial systems deployment. </li><li>Deep understanding of warehouse technologies, including material handling systems (conveyors, AMRs/AGVs), robotics, and WMS/WCS platforms. </li><li>Strong experience in project governance, risk management, and vendor coordination within a fast-paced logistics or fulfillment environment. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to interface with both technical teams and leadership. </li><li>Experience leading warehouse automation projects in a greenfield or brownfield setting. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with project management and construction. </li><li>Knowledge of warehouse management systems and estimation. </li><li>Electrical engineering, controls systems, and mechanical engineering expertise. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.</p> <p>In addition to offering competitive compensation plans and long-term career opportunities, we provide an attractive mix of benefit plans to contribute to your good health, future financial security, and peace of mind</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Birmingham,AL.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on May 23, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
