<p>Position Summary</p> <p>A H2 Electrician is the intermediate level tradesman who assists the experienced electrician installing the work in the basic tasks of materials handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, simple installations, and general labor. This is a safety sensitive position.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Helps in securing, relocating, and organizing materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas. </li><li>Keeps work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse. </li><li>Keeps materials and tools clean and organized in an orderly fashion. </li><li>Assists in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials. </li><li>May operate less complicated hand tools and equipment under direct supervision of a Foreman or more senior electrician. </li><li>Digs trenches by use of hand tools. </li><li>Assists in mounting and strapping. </li><li>May assist more senior personnel in less complicated electrical installations under close supervision. </li><li>Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor. </li><li>DOES NOT WORK ON ENERGIZED CIRCUITS OR EQUIPMENT </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department. </li></ul>
