To learn more, visit www.pharmaron.com.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Pharmaron is seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist III to join our Bioanalytical team in Germantown, MD. This role is ideal for a hands-on scientist looking to deepen their expertise in ligand binding assays, PCR, and large molecule bioanalysis within a regulated GLP environment.</p> <p>You will play a key role in sample analysis, method execution, and data quality, while collaborating closely with experienced scientists on method development and validation activities. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, scientifically rigorous environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment </li><li>Perform day-to-day laboratory operations, including biological sample analysis </li><li>Execute sample handling and processing using proper pipetting and aseptic techniques </li><li>Perform ligand binding assays (LBA) and/or PCR assays, ensuring accurate data generation </li><li>Support solution preparation, reagent management, and inventory monitoring </li><li>Assist in preparation and review of SOPs, forms, and technical documentation </li><li>Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation </li><li>Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP, and regulatory standards </li><li>Support data processing, including preparation of data packages for QC review </li><li>Perform quality control checks to ensure data integrity and traceability </li><li>Collaborate with Bioanalytical Scientists on method development and validation </li><li>Assist in documentation review to ensure method adherence and regulatory compliance </li><li>Mentor and support junior team members (AS II level) in developing technical skills </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field with 2-3 years of industry experience OR Master's degree with ~2 years of experience </li><li>Hands-on experience with ligand binding assays (LBA) and/or PCR </li><li>Knowledge of large molecule bioanalysis / immunoassays </li><li>Familiarity with immunology, molecular biology, or immunochemistry </li><li>GLP (21 CFR Part 11 & Part 58), GCP, GDP </li><li>ICH guidelines (e.g., ICH M10 preferred) </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment </li></ul> <p>Why Pharmaron?</p> <p>Pharmaron is a premier service provider for the life sciences industry.
