<p>Mainframe DB2 System DBA</p> <p>Define and provide guidance for database creation, configuration, upgrade, patches and refresh requirements</p> <p>Recommend operating system and database performance monitoring, tuning and configuration changes</p> <p>Experience with database physical and logical design, query analysis and optimization</p> <p>Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to applications groups</p> <p>Provide database storage management and capacity management recommendations</p> <p>Define and manage database security and access permissions in consultation with customer</p> <p>Ensure completion of authorized Service Requests, Changes, Problem tickets</p> <p>Manage escalations and track Service Delivery and ensure SLA compliance including with vendors</p> <p>Review and update the SOP documents on regular basis</p> <p>Support on all in-flight and upcoming project activities</p> <p>Recommend and perform customer-approved database replication procedures</p> <p>Years of Experience</p> <p>L3 : 10+ Years of experience in Mainframe z/OS Db2 v13 Database Administration</p> <p>Technical requirements</p> <p>Experience in Mainframe Db2 v12/ v13 Database System-Administration on z/OS</p> <p>DB2 installation, upgrade, patching, configuration and operations</p> <p>Proficiency in DB2, VSAM Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning</p> <p>Experience in Data Sharing setup in Parallel Sysplex environment</p> <p>Knowledge in ACF2/RACF, CICS v5.5, Mainframe MQ v9</p> <p>Experience in SMPE and ISV tools installation and migration</p> <p>Create and maintain database entities, including instances, databases, table spaces and tables</p> <p>Database DR, Cloning, Backup/Recovery, HA and Point In Time Recovery (PITR) expertise</p> <p>Experience with Database ISV Tools and Products like OmegaMon and AdminTool</p> <p>Application related performance tuning; Write, modify, and debug database specific SQL queries</p> <p>DBA related utilities like Unload, Load, DSNJU003, DSNJU004,Reorg, Runstats, image copy</p> <p>REXX, CLIST, JCL, JES and Assembler knowledge</p> <p>DB2 keywords:</p> <p>IBM DB2 system admin, IBM DB2 v12, DB2 DBA on z/OS, Mainframe DB2 system programmer, Mainframe DB2 system administrator, IRLM, LISTDEF, REORG, RECOVER, RUNSTATS, QUIESCE, IRLM, DSNJU003, DSN1LOGP, DSN1SDMP</p> <p>Salary Range- $100,000-$120,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-SP3</p> <p>#LI-VX1</p>
