The emergency trauma tech assists nurses in transporting patients, assisting patients with ADL, collecting specimens, performing EKGs and finger stick blood sugar checks.</p> <p>Salary: $30.68 - $30.68 Hourly</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of suturing and suture removal, dressing application, and splinting </li><li>Skill in CPR and EKG's </li><li>BLS Required </li><li>Skill in preparing wounds for treatment, set up and assisting with special procedures such as incision and drainage of infected areas </li><li>Ability to assist nursing staff with routine patient care </li><li>Ability to perform as a team member and provide professional staff support to physicians and nurses </li><li>Ability to function effectively with patients </li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull </li><li>Prior ED Tech or EMT experience highly desired </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
