<p>Position Summary: As one of the top-ranked Clean Renewable Fuels Company in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, development, construction management, and services, we have an opportunity for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join our Engineering Drafting Team in our Rancho office. Candidate must have a strong technical background in Electrical / Mechanical / Design / Development / National Renewable Energy projects / Oil & Gas. The Engineering Manager will be managing and providing engineering, design/drafting, and technical support for projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in areas related to CNG, Hydrogen, and/or oil and gas. The Engineering Manager needs to have excellent leadership and supervisory skills.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coaches, mentors, and motivate project team members and sub-consultants. </li><li>The manager will provide annual performance evaluations and career development plans. </li><li>Hands on management of assigned projects, requiring multi-discipline design knowledge. </li><li>Assist junior engineers where needed with the management of their assigned projects. </li><li>Review and guide design team to ensure project specs and scope are met. </li><li>Contribute to the creation, and maintenance of engineering standards, processes, and procedures. </li><li>Possesses knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to design of projects. </li><li>Ensures compliance with all codes, standards, regulations, and permitting requirements. </li><li>Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions. </li><li>Actively participate in department and project specific meetings. Lead meetings with clients for assigned projects. </li><li>Interface with major equipment suppliers so that product knowledge remains current. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced level of knowledge with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD </li><li>Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills. </li><li>Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner. </li><li>Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation. </li><li>Must be a hands-on manager, able manage projects, delegate, and drive efficiency. </li><li>Must have strong leadership skills and a desire to train and develop others. </li><li>Strong understanding of NFAP 52, NFPA 30A, IFC, NEC, and ASME B31.3 </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills:</p> <p>Education: Bachelors in relevant Engineering field.</p> <p>Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' job-related experience.</p> <p>Licensure/Certification: Registered Professional Engineer strongly preferred.</p> <p>Work Hours: Standard Monday - Friday, first shift (exempt position); must be available for after-hours/weekend calls as business needs demand.</p> <p>Salary: $125K - $145K plus target bonus (15%)</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals must be able to use hands and fingers to operate tools, motorized equipment, and other construction equipment.
