<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management, the Director of Student Rights & Responsibilities serves as Massasoit's Code of Conduct Administrator (CCA), Student Grievance Officer, and Deputy Title IX Coordinator.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as college's Code of Conduct Administrator (CCA); </li><li>Develops and maintains all processes and procedures needed to administer the college's Code of Conduct; </li><li>Recruits, trains, and advises members of the Student Conduct Board; </li><li>Serves on statewide CCA Group and as a liaison to partner institutions; </li><li>Serves as college's Student Grievance Officer and administers the college's Student Grievance Procedure as outlined in the Student Handbook; </li><li>Develops and maintains processes and procedures needed to administer the Student Grievance Procedure; </li><li>Administers the college's Late Withdrawal/Tuition Appeal Process, in collaboration with Enrollment Management and Student Financial Services; </li><li>Chairs the college's Community Assessment Referral Evaluation (CARE) Team; </li><li>Supports the college's Compliance Officer as Deputy Title IX Coordinator; </li><li>Develops and administers educational and training programs related to student rights and responsibilities for students, faculty, and staff; </li><li>Serves on the Student Services and Enrollment Management Leadership Team; </li><li>Collects, organizes, and disseminates statistical data and maintains and updates confidential student files, in accordance with reporting requirements; </li><li>Serves as the college's administrator of and primary contact for the Maxient platform; </li><li>Establishes and maintains working relationships with college faculty and staff; </li><li>Attends meetings and events, serves on committees, and makes presentations; </li><li>Maintains professional knowledge in applicable areas, researches new trends, and advances in the profession; </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or related field; </li><li>Demonstrated Code of Conduct experience, including adjudication of conduct cases, in a higher education setting; </li><li>Demonstrated experience facilitating conduct-related trainings and/or presentations; </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legal issues (e.g., FERPA, Clery, Title IX, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution; </li><li>Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations; </li><li>Demonstrated experience building collaborative relationships; </li><li>Strong communication skills; </li><li>Multilingual. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Position Status: Non-Unit Professional, full-time state funded with benefits</p> <p>Hours: 37.5 hours a week</p> <p>Salary: $86,012 - $111,814 annually.
