This is an Hourly position.</p> <p>Sign On Bonus Eligible!</p> <p>2 + years RN experience: $15K up front and an additional 5K after one year with a two year work commitment.</p> <p>RN Comeback Campaign:</p> <p>As a rehire to OSF in a clinical role, if you have been gone for over a year, you are eligible for the Comeback Campaign. This program will give you credit from your most recent OSF service date. It applies towards time off accrual and service awards. If you have worked for OSF multiple times, the program only applies to your last date of employment.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Fourth Floor</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY: The Primary Charge Nurse assists in overseeing and directing the business of the unit within the shift to meet the needs of the patients and care team. Responsible for patient flow and throughput, ensuring processes and resources are optimized to meet patient needs. Serves as a role model for customer service, patient care standards, and professional relationships. Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, and serves as a resource person for unit personnel in resolving operational and patient care problems. Works at the highest level of licensure by providing quality competent care, following best practice standards, working to achieve care goals and quality outcomes, and following standards of care set by the state boards of nursing.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education: Associate's degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 3 years of date of hire into role.</p> <p>Experience: 2 years of experience on the unit or similar unit.</p> <p>Licensure/ Certification: IL RN license,BLS and ACLS, PALS, or other certification as required by unit.</p> <p>Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
