This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the aerospace sector within a dynamic startup environment. The role involves supporting the build of a spacecraft designed for on-orbit servicing, including the rescue of the SWIFT telescope, in collaboration with a NASA project.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Utilize your expertise in wire harnessing, specifically with 28 AWG or smaller wires. </li><li>Apply IPC 620 certification standards, including the SPACE addendum, to ensure high-quality harnessing. </li><li>Perform hand soldering of components such as solder cups. </li><li>Contribute your harnessing work experience from the past year to the aerospace project. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Current or recently expired (within 6 months) IPC 620 certification, with the SPACE addendum being a significant advantage. </li><li>Proven experience in wire harnessing, particularly in the aerospace industry. </li><li>Proficiency in hand soldering components. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous aerospace experience is beneficial. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment is a manufacturing setting, offering a unique chance to participate in an innovative project with high-impact goals.
