We want your knowledge and expertise!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>Role Summary: Assists therapists in the provision of adult acute care physical, occupational, and speech therapy throughout Mission Hospital. Participates in various operational tasks to facilitate departmental functions when not involved in direct patient care. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting therapists with treatments and exercises and helping tailor therapy plans to each patient's needs </li><li>Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining therapy equipment and treatment areas to create a safe, organized space for patients and staff </li><li>Helping patients get to therapy sessions and assisting with dressing, positioning, and other needs so they feel comfortable and ready for care </li><li>Tracking supplies, completing basic paperwork, and sharing important patient information with the rehab team </li><li>Supporting the team with tasks like helping during mealtimes or other duties that keep patient care running smoothly </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Required Education: High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Preferred Education: None </li><li>Required License: None </li><li>Preferred License: None </li><li>Required Experience: None </li><li>Preferred Experience: Hospital related experience; customer service; actively planning to go into Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology or other healthcare related profession. </li></ul> <p>Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, a member of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare, is a community hospital serving Macon, Jackson and the surrounding counties.
