These submissions will be used to assess writing skills.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Office team works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Members of this team manage sensitive information that requires working with a high level of confidentiality.</p> <p>The Compliance Specialist Associate is an entry-level position that reports to the Chief FOIA Officer within the Office of the Vice President for Communications. In this role, the preferred candidate will have the ability to develop professional skills while performing data entry, records management, and routine communications associated with a high volume of requests for documents concerning University of Michigan business. You will assist more senior members of the FOIA team with examination of records and reporting requirements.
