<p>Brief Job Description:</p> <p>As an Internal Accounting, you will play a crucial role in supporting accounting team. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain insights into accounting department. Therefore, even if a long-term career in accounting isn't the goal, this internship will aid in future career path decisions. This is a chance to contribute to meaningful improvements within the organization while developing professional skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: -</p> <ul> <li>Prepare manual journal entries (mostly at month end close) and their related analysis/support. </li><li>Interact with the finance team on the review of major accruals. </li><li>Prepare of monthly schedules/reports relating to month end. </li><li>Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. </li><li>Coordinate the Intercompany Receivables and Payables settlement. </li><li>Document applicable SOX controls. </li><li>Assist with internal and external audits. </li><li>Assist with continuous improvements initiatives as required. </li><li>Other related duties which may be assigned by immediate superior. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: -</p> <ul> <li>Student in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Business Management, or similar field. </li></ul> <p>Additional / Preferred Qualifications: -</p> <ul> <li>Enthusiastic about accounting, finance, and regulatory subjects. </li><li>Proficient in English, both writing and speaking. </li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tool, especially Excel. </li><li>Attention to details and process-thinking. </li><li>Organized, independent and self-motivated. </li><li>Willing and able to learn. </li><li>Committed to continuous professional development. </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
