In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Although we've grown exponentially, we haven't lost the "family-owned" business feel.</p> <p>We're seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Collections to join our growing team. This role focuses on managing collections, coordinating with insurance companies, and supporting homeowners to ensure timely payments.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Contact insurance companies to follow up on pending payments for completed projects </li><li>Serve as the liaison between Project Managers, Insurance Companies, and homeowners </li><li>Negotiate and establish payment plans when necessary </li><li>Locate debtors and initiate recovery processes </li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and transactions </li><li>Assist other team functions as needed (Invoicing, Permits/Licensing, etc.) </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Full-time, in-office position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., one-hour lunch) </li><li>Annual salary: $42,000-$45,000 </li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 30 days </li><li>PTO accrual begins after 30 days </li><li>401(k) eligibility after 6 months </li><li>All new hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period </li></ul> <p>Our Hiring Process:</p> <ul> <li>Phone interview with our Recruiting Team. </li><li>Complete a brief one-way video interview to help us get to know you. </li><li>In-person interview with the Hiring Manager. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be persistent and have a "won't take no for an answer" attitude towards insurance companies. </li><li>Must be a problem solver; capable of figuring things out and finding new avenues to approach issues to achieve the desired outcome </li><li>Working knowledge of G Suite is a plus </li><li>Prior experience is a plus </li><li>Quick thinking and adaptability </li><li>A positive "can-do" attitude </li><li>Great with hard deadlines </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: Shamrock Roofing & Construction participates in the E-Verify Program for I9 Verification.
