<p>Brand Lead Gene Therapy</p> <p>Location: Lexington, MA Education level: Master or PhD Job category: New Product Planning Target start date: 7/1/2025 Work Location: Hybrid Shift: 1st</p> <p>uniQure is dedicated to bringing innovative therapies or unmet medical needs to patients. This responsibility should be part of our day-to-day working life by (i) living up to high quality standards and (ii) by recognizing the sense of urgency in areas of high medical need.</p> <p>uniQure is entering into an exciting time with its first ever product launch planned for 2026. uniQure's lead program, AMT-130, a one-time gene therapy for adult patients with Huntington's Disease, has received RMAT and Breakthrough Designation from the FDA.</p> <p>The Brand Lead will develop and lead the US brand and launch strategy for AMT-130, a one-time gene therapy, to maximize diagnosis, brand choice, uptake, and access. This role will build a high-performing marketing team who will be responsible for positioning, branding, messaging, and digital and print tactics across multiple segments including KOLs, HCPs, treatment centers, patients and family members, and payers to drive visibility and product adoption across the US. The Brand Lead will also be responsible for running a cross-functional launch team to ensure integrated strategic and tactical launch plans to ensure uniQure's launch readiness for AMT-130. This role will collaborate closely with cross functional teams and leaders including Medical Affairs including Patient Advocacy and HEOR, Market Access, Patient Services, Sales and Account Management, Legal, and Regulatory. This position is based out of Lexington, MA.</p> <p>Key result areas (major duties, accountabilities and responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Develops the US market shaping / disease awareness strategy, brand strategy and tactical marketing plan </li><li>Builds the Marketing Team based on the needs of the top institutions, key opinion leaders, HCPs, patients, payers, and the competitor landscape to optimize promotional approach, selling tools, and educational programming. </li><li>Oversees marketing launch readiness initiatives based on deep customer insight across CoEs / treatment centers, KOLs, HCPs, patients and family members, and payers; develops branding, positioning, messages, story flow and creative imagery, and digital and print tactics to prepare for and deliver a success AMT-130 launch </li><li>Leads AOR relationship </li><li>Establishes a strong relationship with medical affairs, and eventually, the sales team and other field-based commercial teams to ensure optimal execution; partner with Sales Training to develop a comprehensive and effective training plan. </li><li>Ensures strategic and tactical plans meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and company policies. </li><li>Manages marketing operating expenses and budget. </li></ul> <p>#LI-EB1</p> <ul> <li>Seasoned Brand / Marketing Leader with 15+ years of progressive commercial experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry </li><li>BA/BS Required </li><li>MBA and/or other advanced scientific degree preferred (i.e., MBA, MPH or PharmD). </li><li>Experience in US specialty / rare / gene and/or cell therapy launches. </li><li>Knowledge of digital marketing tools, data analytics, and CRM platforms. </li><li>Strong marketing competencies, including disease awareness, brand positioning, strategy, messaging, and omnichannel marketing. </li><li>Must be familiar with relevant legal and regulatory environment in biotech/pharmaceutical industry. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of working total accounts / treatment centers </li><li>Ability to clearly and accurately communicate complex messages, to understand specific needs of the intended audience and tailor communication accordingly, and detail oriented with ability to understand big picture impact. </li><li>Works collaboratively across expertise areas and functions; seeks to advance higher goals; highly regarded across stakeholders both at senior and junior levels; inspires trust at all levels; patient centric. </li><li>Must be comfortable spending 25-30% of the time traveling to visit customers, attend conferences and attend meetings in the Lexington (MA) office. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity. </li></ul>
