<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Planning Manager - Retail & Wholesale will lead financial planning and inventory management across our retail stores and distribution center. You will be responsible for pre-season planning, in-season forecasting, and post-season hindsight-ensuring that inventory aligns with business goals while optimizing sales, margin, and turn.</p> <p>IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR PLANNING MANAGER:</p> <ul> <li>You will own and manage seasonal and annual merchandise financial plans by store, including KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AUS (average units sold), and AOV (average order value). </li><li>You will collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to align sales targets, buy depth, category strategies, and OTB (open-to-buy) planning. </li><li>You will lead in-season forecasting and re-projection based on performance trends. Communicate risks and opportunities with Allocation and Buying teams. </li><li>You will partner with the Allocation team to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure the timely introduction of new products. </li><li>You will develop and deliver hindsight reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis leveraging Shopify, Netsuite, Toolio and Inventory Planner to identify key trends and opportunities. </li><li>You will provide Store Operations and Visual Merchandising with actionable inventory analytics and product flow calendars to support sell-through and in-store experience. </li></ul> <p>COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>5-7 years of experience within apparel planning or related field. Prior management experience preferred </li><li>High proficiency in Excel </li><li>Attention to detail. Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project. </li><li>Efficiency. Able to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort. </li><li>Organization/Planning. Plans, organizes, and schedules in an efficient manner. Focuses on key priorities. </li><li>Proactive. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company. </li><li>Follow-through commitments. Lives up to verbal and written agreements </li><li>Analytical skills. Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights. </li><li>Intelligence. Learns quickly. Demonstrates the ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information. </li><li>Persistence. Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and be solution oriented. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment </li></ul> <p>Salary banding: 120k-145k</p> <p>$120,000 - $145,000 a year</p>
