Apply today to #BecomeOceanFirst and make an impact in the local community!</p> <p>ABOUT YOUR ROLE</p> <p>The Applications Manager -- Business manages the EA team to support key applications, business processes and information systems throughout the Bank. The AM will strategize with the business lines to increase efficiency and return on investment through increased adoption of technologies. The AM provides oversight and regular direction to the team to accomplish projects, and regularly communicates progress to management. This position works closely with vendors and other IT departments to support the needs of the business line, meet service level standards, and provide ongoing education on applications and processes across the Bank.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL DO</p> <ol> <li> <p>Lead the development of a centralized services approach around the Bank applications and processing systems. Through a partnership with key technical business owners, work to enhance efficiencies in tasks and workflow environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage pods of IT professionals including specialists and analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and efficient project delivery. Specifically in the Commercial and Community Bank, Treasury Management and Retail.</p> </li><li> <p>Reinforce the team's use of approved systems of documentation, including Azure DevOps and OFBNow.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the integration and management of SalesForce, including Financial Services Cloud, to enhance customer relationship management and streamline financial services operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as project manager for complex projects with cross-bank impact. Provide ongoing direction to keep all projects moving to completion, including coordinating work with vendors and holding them accountable.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for applications development.</p> </li><li> <p>For the Business team, lead the training effort for ongoing enhancements and onboarded employees for assigned business lines.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate the integration of applications with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility with other software platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Considered a subject matter expert on assigned business lines processes and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and resolve issues concerning data accuracy. Provide ongoing reports on the effects of different strategies and observe any trends or issues to raise with senior management.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization, and making recommendations for innovation and improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide guidance, leadership, and expertise to staff. Create development opportunities and ensure necessary training and tools are provided. Ensure that timely and meaningful performance management is administered to all team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain compliance wth the Bank's data governance, information security and change control programs.</p> </li><li> <p>For Core team, oversee disaster recovery critical system testing for supported servers and applications.</p> </li><li> <p>For Core team, maintain EA's Business Continuity Plan, completing risk assessments, plan updates and walk-through testing as required.</p> </li></ol> <p>WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU</p> <ul> <li>Excellent understanding of the applications and systems supported by the team, the lines of business served and banking in general. </li><li>Ability to manage projects and vendors. </li><li>Ability to travel across the Bank's footprint for training and collaboration. </li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Excellent MS Office Suite skills (particularly MS Excel). Ability to quality check reports and dashboards. </li><li>Highly motivated and organized, with keen attention to detail and analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to empower others. Help team grow and develop their skills and capabilities through education and on-the-job learning. </li><li>Ability to quickly become familiar with the Bank's database framework, and the sources and uses of data. </li></ul> <p>YOUR QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology related fields or equivalent work experience required. </li><li>7 years of experience in core banking, lending, enterprise content management or related field required. </li><li>7 years of professional technical experience with strategy, planning and/or business analysis is preferred. </li><li>Previous experience as a team leader or manager. </li><li>Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in for sales and service </li><li>Experience in Commercial, Retail and Business Banking and Treasury Management </li><li>Experience in Fiserv Premier or similar Core Banking system preferred. </li><li>Implement AI-driven prompts to assist staff in their daily tasks and improve efficiency. </li><li>Developing and validating AI models to improve decision-making processes and customer service. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage projects to completion - on time and budget - communicating updates to the business line and team, and utilizing the project management tools on hand. </li></ul> <p>INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS</p> <ul> <li>Will interact with a range of bank employees in a variety of seniority levels. Must have strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Frequent internal contact with department and senior managers on Information Technology issues or information requests. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Office environment. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups.
