<p>The College is seeking qualified Adjunct AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructors to provide instruction on an as-needed basis. This position supports workforce development and community training initiatives by delivering high-quality BLS courses in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines. </p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver AHA BLS Provider courses in accordance with established guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate skills practice, testing, and written evaluations</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate course records and submit required documentation in a timely manner. Ensure proper setup, use, and maintenance of instructional equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of current American Heart Association BLS standards and course requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Strong instructional and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification in good standing</p> </li><li> <p>Certification preferably aligned with South Regional AHEC, or willingness to complete secondary alignment</p> </li></ul> <p>Unofficial transcripts must be included with your online application before submission or sent directly to Human Resources immediately after applying. Failure to provide transcripts may result in your application not being fully considered.</p> <p>Wilson Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
