Hour requirements: 24 to 30 hours a week. This position has the potential to become full time after a probationary period. Skilled in stocking and merchandising furniture, assembling products, and preparing sold items for customer pickup or delivery. Supports smooth inventory flow, proper material handling, and overall store operations while ensuring all products are clean, presentable, and accurately staged to enhance the customer shopping experience.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly store at all times, including dusting, vacuuming, and general upkeep. </li><li>Prepare and maintain product displays on the sales floor as requested. </li><li>Report any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to management immediately. </li><li>Provide support in all areas of business operations as needed. </li><li>Build and maintain an understanding of store products and pricing to help manage stock levels at the assigned location. </li><li>Remove sold merchandise from the sales floor and prepare items for customer pickup or delivery. </li><li>Pull products for delivery, move them to the staging area, and assist with loading. </li><li>Follow proper material-handling procedures to prevent injuries and minimize product damage. </li><li>Move and reorganize stock as directed by management to effectively merchandise the sales floor. </li><li>Assemble or disassemble furniture as directed by store management. </li><li>Maintain an organized sales floor and stock area, including cleaning and touching up product as needed. </li><li>Operate a forklift to move, store, and restock furniture as needed. </li></ul>
