<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>.80 FTE, 32 hours/week. Monday through Friday, with most shifts of 11am-5:30pm but the PACU is open from 7a-8pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.</p> <p>Pay:</p> <p>UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Coordinate with Nursing Supervisors, assist with patient placement needs of ICU, IMC, general care, or outpatient placement. Communicate with units and ancillary staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Settle surgical/post-anesthesia patients, obtain vitals, reposition patients, set up suction, assist with airway, empty drains, empty foleys - per RN request, assist with normoglycemia protocol.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with activities of daily living, patient transport, intentional rounding, stocking, and ordering equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program Required</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred</p> <p>Licenses & Certifications:</p> <p>Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required</p> <p>BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required</p> <p>Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging</p> <p>UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
