Maintains the exercise room, and swimming pools to ensure they are in a clean and orderly condition at all times. Observes and guards the pool areas to ensure guests are following all rules and regulations.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Monitors activities in the pool area to ensure that guests are following all rules and regulations. Ensures all people in the pool area are hotel guests. </li><li>Logs pool readings per Health Department regulations. Adjusts ph and chlorine levels as needed. </li><li>Performs daily maintenance of pools such as, vacuuming, cleaning strainers and back wash, and sweeping and hosing down to keep pools free of algae. </li><li>Cleans and wipes down furniture in the pool area daily. </li><li>Brings clean towels to the pool area at the beginning of the shift, and takes used towels that are left to the laundry room at the end of the shift. </li><li>Ensures that all required life safety equipment i.e. water ring, rope, backboard, hook, blanket, first aid kit, are available and in good condition. </li><li>Cleans all glass in the pool area, and maintains the exercise and pump room. </li><li>Able to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds. </li><li>Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures, and follows all key control procedures. </li><li>Provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times. </li><li>Wears proper uniform and nametag at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines. </li><li>Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management. </li></ul>
