<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Trucking Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for the transport of materials (freight/recycling) to and from specified locations, including loading and unloading vehicles; manually picking up and moving various materials (i.e.) recycling, waste, surplus equipment/furniture and special events resources, etc., from locations on/off campus via stairways, elevators, and dock locations; and ensuring excellent customer service.</p> <p>The Trucking Driver Lead supports the Trucking Services Supervisor in providing direction and oversight of team members in their successful completion of daily tasks; Ensures assigned work schedules are maintained by staff and job duties completed on a daily basis; In the absence of staff, ensures all customer areas are covered by recommending to the Trucking Services Supervisor any adjustments to schedules as needed.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>MS Windows/Outlook; KRONOS/Dimensions</p> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of mechanics; driver's courses; etc.</p> <p>Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
