<p>Department</p> <p>Radiation Oncology_PAV</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Dosimetrist position located out the new Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion in Sarasota, FL (Sarasota Memorial Hospital's campus).</p> <p>$7,500 hiring bonus available.</p> <p>The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for designing a treatment plan and accurately calculating the delivery of radiation treatment based on the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed course of radiation therapy and according to established practices and standards.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require successful completion of an accredited two- (2-) year Medical Dosimetry program with training in the usage of Varian Medical Systems software and equipment, specifically Eclipse, or a minimum of three (3) years of radiation oncology clinical experience as a dosimetrist with experience utilizing Varian Medical Systems software and equipment, specifically Eclipse. </li><li>Require board eligible for Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer experience in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS and SBRT) high dose rate brachytherapy. </li><li>Prefer proficiency in image registration with various image sets to include CT, MRI and PET. </li><li>Position is 100% on-site (not remote). </li></ul> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
