As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.</p> <p>Role Type:</p> <p>Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)</p> <p>General Purpose:</p> <p>Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations for guest consumption and enjoyment. This position requires adherence to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing meals for all food outlets</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards</p> </li><li> <p>Follows food safety procedures and guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Supports food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares sufficient quantities of food products in accordance with production plans or forecasted needs</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes whole food products while minimizing waste</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas</p> </li><li> <p>Alerts the Chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products</p> </li><li> <p>Incorporates safe work practices in job performance</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains regular and reliable attendance</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as required</p> </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes, and smells. Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.</p> <p>Environment/Noise:</p> <p>Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather conditions.
