<p>Misa Plumbing, a Local 1 repair shop, is seeking an experienced journeyman plumber to join the team.</p> <p>This is a union position. B Division.</p> <p>Excellent Compensation Package Includes (but is not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>$49.90/hour in accordance with Union contract </li><li>Pension Plan </li><li>401K </li><li>Medical Benefits </li></ul> <p>Journeyman Plumber Responsibilities :</p> <ul> <li>Installs, repairs, and maintains pipe systems, drains, ducts, and related fittings and fixtures for water, sewage, and drainage in plumbing systems </li><li>Reads blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste disposal, and material needed </li><li>Installs gas appliances, dishwashers and water heaters, sinks and toilets, measures, cuts, bends, and threads pipes using hand and power tools or machines </li><li>Detects faults in plumbing appliances and systems and diagnoses their causes </li><li>Other duties upon request </li></ul> <p>Journeyman Plumber Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li>86 - 87 Full Gas Work Qualification Card Required </li><li>F60 - G60 Certificates Required </li><li>Experience with and knowledge of backflow, boilers, and pumps required </li><li>Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles </li><li>Certified backflow tester a plus </li><li>S12 - S13 Certificates a plus </li><li>Operator Qualified a plus </li><li>Worker Wallet - Local Law 152 Gas Inspection Certification a plus </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements :</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis </li><li>Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis </li><li>Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and plumbing equipment </li><li>Must be able to climb stairs frequently </li><li>Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards </li><li>Must operate company van </li></ul> <p>Check us out: https://www.misaplumbing.com/</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
