<p>Job Title LOG Yearbook Staff Designer Department Student Activities Terms and Hours Approx. 5 hrs/wk, Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 Job Category Student Stipend Hourly Wage Monthly Stipend Payment Job Summary</p> <p>This is a student volunteer experience position. Volunteer experience participants receive monthly stipend payments.</p> <p>LOG Yearbook Staff Designers work collaboratively with the LOG Yearbook Design Editor and other LOG Yearbook staff members to execute the overall design of the 172-page LOG Yearbook. Staff Designers create yearbook spreads utilize InDesign to create yearbook layouts, from the brainstorming stage to publication stage.</p> <p>Core Duties</p> <ul> <li>Designs 11-12 Spreads per semester (utilizing InDesign) </li><li>Collaborates with Design Editor to establish and follow style guide and master book file </li><li>Checks for design consistency during pre-submission deadline sessions </li><li>In a timely manner, makes editors or redesigns after Design Editor and/or Editor-in-Chief have requested changes. </li><li>Work with other Design team members to successfully execute design for 172-page yearbook, from brainstorming to final publication </li><li>Participation includes attending weekly meetings (1-2 a week).
