Also, please include a statement verifying that you are able to attend the entirety of the program.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for high school teaching assistants for the 2026 Super Saturdays at UM-Dearborn program. The prerequisite for this position is that the applicant is either currently in high school or will be in high school as of 3/1/2026, and has participated in Math Corps at UM-Dearborn. The applicant must have high grades (on supplied high school transcript) in mathematics courses.</p> <p>Students will be required to mentor two middle school students. This involves helping them with mathematical homework assigned at camp and grading the assignments given at camp.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>High school teaching assistants will be directly responsible for mentoring two middle school students throughout the morning. The key responsibilities of this position are developing a strong mathematical relationship with the middle school students.</p> <p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Super Saturdays program will run Saturdays only from 9:00AM - 12:30PM.</p> <p>The program dates are March 28, April 4, 11, 18, and 25.</p> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
