<p>Reports to: Executive Director of Technology</p> <p>Purpose: This position will work in conjunction with the Rowan Salisbury School System's technology department.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from a two--year college or technical school with coursework in electronics and Computers and (1--3 years) experience; or high school diploma or equivalency and an equivalent combination of training and experience </li><li>The following certifications are desired but not mandatory: A+, Net+, Security+, ACMT; iOS Certified, CCNA, MCSE </li><li>Applicants will be asked to complete a skills test as part of the interview process. The skills test is used to assess each applicant's proficiency with Hardware / Software. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <p>Knowledge of:</p> <ul> <li>MDM Solutions(s) </li><li>Mac OS--iOS Devices - Windows OS </li><li>MS Office </li><li>Software Applications </li><li>LAN/WAN </li><li>Imaging Solutions (Mac and PC) </li><li>Network Printers </li><li>Wireless AP's </li><li>Scripting </li></ul> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Configures, repairs, maintains and upgrades technology--related equipment, including but not limited to Apple IOS and OSX devices, Windows, imaging and mobile device management software. </li><li>Communicates with employees and management in a timely and professional manner. </li><li>Provides support to users by phone and email using remote support tools. </li><li>Excellent problem solving, multi--tasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to details are required to work within the department and school environment. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals. </li><li>Uses a web--based work--order tracking system for routine repair and maintenance of equipment. </li><li>Assists in researching new technology and provide input on new standards. </li><li>Attends classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of equipment and operating systems. </li></ul> <p>Term of Employment: 12 months in accordance with the Rowan--Salisbury School Board calendar</p>
