Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center Rehab is a hospital-based department that provides therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services are provided to patients across the life span. Therapists treat a wide variety of patient diagnoses, and specialties provided at this location include the BIG program for Parkinson's patients, Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction, Vestibular (dizziness) Dysfunction and pediatric Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy services.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY: In addition to the job duties as a therapist (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, OTA, TR), a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is a licensed therapist who assists with planning, implementing, and evaluating department operations and activities; provides leadership for a rehabilitation entity. The supervisor plays a key role in assuring quality service, patient and Mission Partner satisfaction, compliance with current policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and fiscal responsibility.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Therapy specialty or Business/Management related field </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3 years of clinical experience in acute care and/or outpatient facility. </li><li>2 years of progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain full knowledge of therapeutic treatments, effectively develop individually tailored treatment programs, maintain caseload of complex cases, and lead and direct Mission Partners. </li></ul> <p>License/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Respective state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Speech Pathologist, or Therapeutic Recreation. </li><li>CPR certification within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Other skills/knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Previous leadership experience. </li><li>Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. </li></ul> <p>OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
