Learn more at www.ArcherIRM.com.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>We are hiring a Senior Accountant specializing in revenue recognition accounting to strengthen our revenue processes and support strategic financial goals. This role is critical to ensuring complete and accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 and compliance with Archer's policies. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Accounting, you will work independently as well as part of a team, collaborate across departments, conduct technical accounting research, provide accounting expertise, and contribute to process automation and organizational improvements in a dynamic SaaS environment. This position requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Revenue Accounting & Compliance </li><li>Manage monthly revenue close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. </li><li>Identify and document performance obligations, variable considerations, and allocation of transaction price. </li><li>Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and Archer's revenue recognition policies. </li><li>Review new customer contracts for proper revenue treatment in accordance with ASC 606; identify and timely escalate issues with proposed solutions. </li><li>Provide timely and complete revenue transaction analysis and conclusions for new customer contracts. </li><li>Calculate and maintain sales commissions, including capitalization analysis, and perform royalty calculations. </li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration </li><li>Partner with Sales, Legal, Operations, FP&A and other internal teams to provide guidance on revenue implications. </li><li>Ensure deal structures align with ASC 606 guidance and Company policies while maintaining favorable terms. </li><li>Research and present guidance on revenue recognition for new products and pricing models. </li><li>Advise teams on contract amendments and modifications to ensure compliant revenue recognition. </li><li>Systems & Process Management and Improvement </li><li>Utilize NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, FloQast, and MS365 Suite to maintain complete and accurate records and reporting. </li><li>Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to streamline revenue accounting processes. </li><li>Perform user acceptance testing for system enhancements and new implementations. </li><li>Support automation initiatives and system enhancements related to revenue recognition. </li><li>Audit & Reporting </li><li>Support external audits of Archer's US and Global Subsidiaries' financial statements and internal controls and provide supporting documentation for revenue-related inquiries. </li><li>Prepare revenue reports and analysis for management and stakeholders. </li><li>Monitor key metrics and trends to ensure accuracy and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA Preferred </li><li>Experience: </li><li>3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
