A-State participates in E-Verify.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Arkansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a 9 or 12 month, full time, tenure or non-tenure track, open rank faculty position in comparative veterinary anatomy (gross and microanatomy). Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This will be a predominantly teaching position (>65% teaching) and will also include research/scholarly activities and service. Teaching of DVM students will be in a competency-based veterinary curriculum incorporating lecture, lab and small group learning.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to competency-based curriculum development with a focus on anatomy </li><li>Oversee the procurement, preparation, and disposal of cadavers and other teaching specimens </li><li>Oversee anatomy courses and exam schedule · Manage anatomy program support personnel </li><li>Develop a scholarly research program and/or collaborate in research endeavors </li><li>Contribute to college and university committees and/or serve on regional or national professional organizations </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively across CVM stakeholders</p> <p>Ability to prioritize tasks, deliver results in a timely manner and function independently</p> <p>General Days/Hours:</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m</p> <p>Additional hours as requested and/or needed</p> <p>Regular and reliable attendance</p> <p>Other:</p> <p>Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M.
