The position is embedded within project teams, attending meetings, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment between financials and project milestones.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is highly proficient in financial tracking, forecasting, and advanced Excel, with the ability to understand engineering concepts well enough to question costs and validate assumptions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Track and report project budgets, timelines, and financial status to senior leadership </li><li>Attend project meetings to monitor progress and maintain alignment with financial plans </li><li>Build and maintain complex spreadsheets, dashboards, and financial models </li><li>Develop financial forecasts, including cost timing and payment projections </li><li>Support senior leadership in executive-level meetings and reporting </li><li>Analyze project costs and validate assumptions with engineering teams </li><li>Ensure accurate tracking of all project-related financial data </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (macros, dashboards, data analysis) </li><li>Experience with financial tracking tools (Tiger, Cobra, or similar) </li><li>Proven ability to forecast project financials and track budget performance </li><li>Ability to present financial data clearly to all levels of management </li><li>Working understanding of engineering projects and cost drivers </li><li>Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor"s degree or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience in the aerospace manuacturing industry </li><li>Experience supporting engineering or technical project environments </li><li>Background in project finance, program controls, or cost analysis </li></ul> <p>Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
