<p>The Warehouse Inventory Specialist position is one that wears numerous hats at Westrock Coffee. This individual is responsible for maintaining the organization of our warehouse area. The main objectives for this function are to physically and systematically provide our production teams with the materials they need and our distribution team with the finished product they need uninterruptedly.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret the production schedule and use that knowledge to calculate and submit material requests via an ERP system to our distribution center in order to have materials arrive at the manufacturing facility at an appropriate time. </li><li>Conduct cycle counts of various inventory as directed by either the Inventory Supervisor or Director of Operations. </li><li>Organize and coordinate returns of any leftover packaging materials after production runs are concluded. </li><li>Use FIFO when pulling materials by "lot" number for traceability </li><li>Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse. </li><li>Receive purchase orders in ERP system and processes paperwork associated with them to the expectations of Compliance and Accounting teams' needs. </li><li>Manage small transportation team and instructs them of any tasks they need to complete. De facto supervisor of our small transportation fleet and warehouse team. </li><li>Communicate with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain management teams regularly regarding non-conforming product and other urgent matters. </li><li>Execute inventory transactions in ERP system as needed. </li><li>Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner. </li><li>Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed. </li><li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements. </li><li>Willingness to work holidays occasionally due to production demands. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications include:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>2+ years of inventory control experience </li><li>Forklift certified with 1+ years of experience </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and follow safety regulations </li><li>Able to effectively communicate ideas (verbally and in writing), be a self-starter and handle difficult situations. </li><li>Attention to detail while maintaining alertness, professionalism, and honesty </li><li>Intermediate Computer skills </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications </li><li>Experience with Oracle's NetSuite ERP system, preferred </li></ul>
