We are Primary Stroke Center Certified and have one of Central Iowa's only Epilepsy monitoring units. Coordinates unit management activities in conjunction with manager/director. Facilitates unit staff development in collaboration with manager/director. Carries out the day-to-day operation plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director. Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit. Works collaboratively with other departments to facilitate cost effective health care.</p> <p>Patient population: DNV-Certified primary Stroke Unit. Also Medical Neuro/Trauma. Remote telemetry and Epilepsy monitoring.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree upon hire</p> </li><li> <p>Two (2) year experience as a Registered Nurse</p> </li><li> <p>Current Iowa RN license</p> </li><li> <p>Current BCLS (CPR) certification</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in specialty area</p> </li></ul>
